I was born here in Louisville, I’m the eldest of three children, and I love spending time with my family!
One of my first jobs was at a bookstore near the University of Louisville’s campus where I quickly learned that working in front-facing customer service was not for me. I would say I’m a very introverted person and having to answer phones and questions all day was torture for me.
When I got to college, I initially started studying Mechanical Engineering, but I ended up switching gears a few semesters in and turned to Finance instead. Even though Engineering wasn’t a fit for me, I met my best friends during my time on that side of campus! Beginning sophomore year, I began working at the dorms as a receptionist which helped me stay on top of my studies, meet new friends, and let me catch up on all the tv shows on my list.
After graduation, I got a job at the financial company that was just down the hall from the Goodson offices. Within the year, I transferred over and started working directly under Goodson and I couldn’t be in better company.
I was in choir throughout middle and high school and was lucky enough to get to participate in multiple state-wide singing competitions, and perform at the Winter Garden Atrium in New York as well as on stage at Disney’s EPCOT.
Alongside singing, I love video games, anime, extremely difficult jigsaw puzzles, my cat Dezi, my boyfriend of almost 9 years, and baking! During college, I started learning how to bake and now I have my own side business making cakes and other yummy desserts for birthdays, charity events, school dances, and even weddings. I still have a lot to learn and a long way to go, but one day I would love to run my own dessert café!
